Electronic Medical Records (EMR)
The heart of the EMR module is the provider desktop manager. It helps the physicians in handling all their day-to-day activities like viewing the list of appointments, on line ordering of investigation, procedures, drugs and consumables along with capturing of diagnosis of patients.
It is setup in a manner that would be familiar to the provider while offering a myriad of time-saving features. The module also helps the physician in retrieving patient medical records and in decision making like drug allergy indication, problems, drug-drug interaction and contra indications.

MEDICAL TRANSCRIPTIONS MANAGER
Medical transcription is a process whereby one accurately and swiftly transcribes medical records dictated by doctors, this includes history, clinical notes, discharge summary, laboratory and radiology reports.
The module completely automates the medical transcription workflow from the hospitals/clinic to the MT service provider where the voice data is processed & transcribed into the required format; the same is electronically received by our system and stored for medical reference.
The module tracks the complete process flow such as date & time the file was sent received, reviewed and finally authorized to become part of the medical record.

SPECIALTY MODULES
The EMR contains an unique option for specialty departments that are designed to have the specific details related to those departments such as dental, ophthalmology, dermatology, cosmetology etc.
Dental module captures the data such as anatomy, function and disease of the teeth. The modules allow the dentist to enter all dental details of a patient. A graphical interface is specially provided to record all activities in graphical mode.

Laboratory
The laboratory module is tightly integrated with the other modules of IDMSys and can receive requests for the tests from the modules like Provider Desktop Manager, Nursing Station and OR.
Integrates with the medical equipments and supports bi-directional interfaces for the equipments. It covers the processes like order collection, patient check-in, sample collection, test processing, report preparation and report dispatch.
Supports setup of profiles with facility to include a profile within another profile.
Single window result entry facility provided for all the orders of a patient.

Radiology
The Radiology module offers a comprehensive system to cater to all the requirements of the Radiology Department. It provides for scheduling of appointment for examinations, examination processing, post examination results reporting and film tracking. Appointments can be scheduled to the various clinics for examinations to be conducted. Timetables can be set up for different clinics with details of the days and times on which the clinic operates, so that the time slots can be allotted to specific patients. Appointment cards are generated and handed over to patients along with the instructions to be followed before coming for attending the examination. Appointments can be cancelled if required. Groups of days can be blocked/unblocked for various reasons by the department.

Admission – Transfer – Discharge
The ADT module tracks all the Admissions, Discharges and Transfers in a hospital. It handles the creation of temporary beds and allotting them to patients and deleting these beds etc. It also supports the facilities like admitting baby to mother’s bed and linking mother and baby inpatient numbers etc.

Nursing Station
The Nursing Station module caters the requirement of the Nursing department in a hospital. It has features like duty roster for the nurses, their day-to-day activities like patient monitoring, ordering investigations, drugs, procedures, capturing vital Signs. It also gives provisions to capture the drugs administered and progress notes of the patient.

Patient Medical Packages
In IDMSys you can setup different type of packages like OP static, OP Multiple visit packages, IP Static and IP dynamic packages. Based on the hospital policy IP package and OP multiple visit packages can also be customized to the needs of the individual patients by authorized employees.

Pharmacy
The Pharmacy Management system caters for maintenance of comprehensive drug database, dispensing and stock control functions of the pharmacy department.
The system maintains a centralized drug information system, covering complete drug formulary with information on the generic name, the trade name. Its supports standard dosages, contra-indications, interactions, physical and chemical characteristics, different drug classifications and indexes.
The system offers a comprehensive application for managing the inventory of the hospital's drugs and other medical, surgical and laboratory items. It is linked with purchasing system for replenishment of all pharmacy items.

Hospital Inventory
This module manages the hospital inventory of medical supplies, surgical supplies and lab & radiology items stocked by the hospital stores. The inventory module is integrated with all financial modules such as Accounts payable, Accounts receivable and General Ledger as well as relevant HIS modules such as Nursing stations, Medical Departments, OR and pharmacy.
IDMSys inventory has a well defined workflow for inventory procurement and material issue. Multiple stores can be defined and facility to attach sub stores to nursing stations, OR and departments.

OR Management
The Operation Room (OR) module has functionalities like OR booking, Scheduling for the surgeons, assistant surgeons, anesthetist, Surgery recording, interfacing the OT Equipments, ordering lab, radiology tests. and consumables required for the surgery.
Surgeons and anesthetists can define their own templates for capturing the pre-operative and post-operative notes.

Integration with Sage Accpac ERP Financials
IDMsys is tightly integrated with Sage Accpac ERP General Ledger, Accounts Receivable & Accounts Payable. Transactions generated in OP, IP and Daycare bills are posted to Accounts Receivable module.

The Corporate, Credit & Insurance transactions have two components, Patient Responsibility & Company Responsibility.
Patient responsibility amount collected through cash or credit card is posted to Accounts Receivable Receipts where as for the Company Responsibility amount creates an invoice and is posted to Accounts Receivable Invoice. Inventory & Pharmacy items posted in these bills gets the effect for Sales & COGS in General Ledger (GL).
